CONVERSION CHART

Typically, Europeans measure their ingredients by weight, while Americans measure theirs by volume. Growing up as a transatlantic hybrid, I own both a set of measuring cups / spoons and a weigh scale. While I feel comfortable using both, the advantage of the European system is that it leaves less room for error, which is especially important when baking.

That being said…..I also know that not everyone feels the same way, and that there are some true blue, die hard ‘CUP’ fans out there as there are those who sware only by the metric system of grams! As blogs are bringing international cooking enthusiast closer together, it is normal that peoples recipes come in all shapes & sizes, not to mention measurements! To give you a helping had to bridge the gap, I have created a concise but ever growing list of common cooking conversions.

Please keep in mind that volume measurement are not exact and all depends on how much you pack the ingredients into the cup/spoon. I have also found this website that can be useful MEASUREMENT EQUIVALENTS
